Sydney International Bullshit Festival lineup announced

The Australian Christian Lobby, sponsors of this year's Sydney International Bullshit Festival, have announced the lineup for next Saturday's event.

This year's festival - under the bullshit title "Cultivating Courage" - includes a star-studded lineup of both local and international bullshit artists.

Keynote speaker will be the American Conservative commentator Eric Metaxas, who took out the 2011 US bullshit award with his comparison of the advancement of LGBT rights to the rise of Nazism in pre-war Germany.

Eric is also an advocate for bullshit ideas like gay conversion therapy.

Also appearing is the 2012 US bullshitting champion Jeffery Ventrella, who claims homosexuality is a "profound risk" to physical and mental health.

Jeffery boasts years of bullshitting experience as a leading attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom - a well financed Christian organisation who are bankrolling an international push to restrict LGBT rights.

Local bullshit artists include News Ltd journalist and Australian speed-bullshitting champion Miranda Devine as well as the Australian heavy weight bullshitting champion and federal treasurer Scott Morrison.

Scott will be making a brief appearance refusing to answer questions on his role as chief architect of the Migration and Maritime Powers Bill, the largest artificial structure in the Pacific Ocean constructed entirely out of bullshit.

Tickets are still available at the bullshit price of $280 with organisers promising this year's event will be the biggest pile of bullshit Australians have seen since the launch of the 2013 Liberal party federal election campaign.
