Federal Election Campaign: Day 1 and 2

Day one of the election campaign: LNP engages in a shocking level of corruption and nepotism.

Federal election campaign day 2.

When Peter Dutton accuses the Labor candidate for Dickson, Ali France, of using her disability as an "excuse" for not living in the electorate.

France has been unable to find a wheelchair accessible home in Dickson, but does work there. She lost her leg in 2011 after it was crushed against a wall whilst she was protecting her young son from a car.

“Unlike my opponent who has nine houses, one of which is in the electorate, I have just one house that has been built to accommodate my disability.”

The co-chief executive of People With Disability Australia, Matthew Bowden, said the statements were “extraordinary” and “out of touch with reality”.

Time to throw this trash out.
